Heather McKinnon

Heather McKinnon has extensive work experience in the field of design and creative direction. Heather currently holds the position of VP Design and Executive Creative Director at Spiro, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Global Experience Specialists (GES) as an Executive Creative Director since 2014. Before that, they held the position of Creative Director at GES (formerly known as Exhibitgroup/Giltspur) from 2008 to 2014, and Sr Art Director/Design Director from 2005 to 2008. Heather also has experience as an Environmental Graphic Designer at HGA and Hammel Green and Abrahamson from 2000 to 2005. Their career started as a Graphic Designer at Entolo/Haas Multiples from 1998 to 2000, and at Ambrosi from 1993 to 1998.

Heather McKinnon attended Miami University from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. This was their primary field of study during their time at the university.
