Ankarino Lara

Ankarino Lara is the Founder & CEO of Thismoment. Prior to this, they were VP of Product Development at Yahoo! from February 2007 to March 2008, where they managed product development for the 'Worlds' initiative within the Entertainment Division. Lara also served as VP, Product Development at CNET from November 1999 to December 2006.

From September 1997 to September 1999, Lara was an Educator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for the Maya Archaeology and Epigraphy program within the LA Public School Outreach program.

Lara began their career as a Conservation Associate at Harvard University's Peabody Museum from January 1995 to May 1997, where they cataloged, conserved, restored, and photographed (not digital) articfacts and monument/sculpture casts from Central America with a focus on the Maya Classic Period.

Ankarino Lara received a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from Harvard University. Ankarino also holds a High School Diploma from Polytechnic School and a Promotion Certificate from St. Mark's School.
