Graham Marchbank

Director of Culinary Development at Thistle

Graham Marchbank has a long and varied work experience. Graham began their career in 2002 as a Line Division Supervisor in the US Navy, where they managed 23 airmen and was responsible for training all squadron members to become Plane Captains. In 2006, they moved to Sport Chalet as a Department Head, managing 10 sales associates in the Winter Sports department. In 2009, they joined Acquerello as Kitchen Manager, where they managed a crew of 18 kitchen personnel and was an integral part of the crew that earned Acquerello its second Michelin Star in 2015. In 2016, they began working for Off the Grid as a Sr. Manager, Business Operations, Program Manager, Instrucktional Mobile Food Incubator, and Operations Manager. In 2021, they joined Bon Appétit Management Company as an Executive Development Chef and Senior General Manager, Program Optimization. Most recently, they began working for Thistle in 2022 as the Director of Culinary Development.

Graham Marchbank attended Diablo Valley College from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Graham also attended the California Culinary Academy from 2008 to 2009 and earned an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training.
