Alicia Gardiner

Alicia Gardiner currently serves as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Thomas College, a position held since March 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Vice President for Finance and Controller at Colby College from June 2019 to December 2023, and as the Executive Director of Budget & Finance for Portland Public Schools, Maine, from November 2016 to June 2019. Alicia also held the role of Chief Financial Officer for the City of Westbrook, Maine, from November 2010 to November 2016, and worked as an Auditor at Purdy, Powers & Company from February 2009 to November 2010. Prior positions include Internal Auditor at TD and Staff Accountant roles at Baker Newman & Noyes and KPMG US. Alicia holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Management with concentrations in Organizational Management and Financial Management from the University of Southern Maine, earned from 2012 to 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Public Accounting from Babson College, completed in 2006.
