Dr. Richard Biffle is a seasoned educator and administrator with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Council of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Professor of Education and Anthropology at Thomas College since August 2015, Dr. Biffle previously held various roles including Associate Professor of Education and Co-Chair of the Division of Education at the University of Hawaii-West Oahu, and Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Department of Education at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Further experience includes positions at the University of Denver and Willamette University, where Dr. Biffle contributed as Associate Professor and Director of various educational programs. Dr. Biffle holds a Ph.D. in Educational Anthropology from The University of New Mexico, a Master's Degree in Education Administration and Leadership from Eastern Michigan University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside.
