Trent Thompson

Trent is a Principal and Water & Wastewater Manager for engineering, planning, and design on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. He began working with Thomas & Hutton right after earning his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Mercer University in 2001. A licensed Professional Engineer, Trent’s experience includes the planning and design of water distribution/supply and wastewater collection/treatment systems for multiple municipalities, water and sewer authorities, and local governments. His expertise includes environmental and civil engineering, consisting of conceptual design, computer modeling, master planning, feasibility studies, permitting, detailed design, contract document preparation, technical specification preparation, bidding, and construction projects. Trent is involved in professional organizations, including National Society of Professional Engineers/Georgia Society of Professional Engineers, American Water Works Association, Georgia Association of Water Professionals, and National Fire Protection Association.
