Connie Wang

Connie Wang has extensive experience in the field of training and technology. Connie has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 2003 with the County of Orange, where they served as the Lead E-Learning Consultant/Content Development Manager. In this role, they created an e-learning strategy and developed online training using Dreamweaver and RoboDemo.

Following their time at the County of Orange, Connie worked as a Training/e-learning consultant at Alpine Electronics for IBM Global Business Services. Connie wrote a training plan, delivered a Train-the-Trainer program, and collaborated with functional consultants.

In 2005, Connie joined Warnaco as a Training Project Manager, leading a team of developers in an SAP implementation. Connie managed scope, progress, and budget for the team.

Connie then worked at John Laing Homes as a Training Project Manager, where they designed and developed blended learning solutions. Connie also managed development schedules and utilized tools such as RWD Info Pak and Dreamweaver.

At GP Strategies Corporation, Connie served as a Project Manager, overseeing teams of consultants and implementing training solutions. Connie was often assigned to troubleshoot complex projects.

From 2007 to 2008, Connie held the position of Training Project Manager at Toyota Financial Services. Connie led a team in the development and delivery of training and documentation solutions.

At Learn2Perform, Connie worked as a Senior Consultant, developing training materials and acting as a liaison with software providers.

During their time at DIRECTV from 2009 to 2015, Connie was the Manager of Online Training and LMS Administrator. Connie led multiple LMS implementations, created training for dealers and partners, and managed development projects with e-learning vendors.

From 2015 to 2022, Connie worked at AT&T as the Lead Training Manager for Online Training and Learning Solutions. Connie served as the system and solution architect for multiple LMS and knowledge management systems, as well as content platform implementations and migrations.

Most recently, Connie has joined Thomas James Homes as the Director of IT Program Management. Their responsibilities include collaborating with executive leadership and business users to design and execute project plans for IT platforms and initiatives, such as cloud storage migration and launching new communication tools.

Connie Wang obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC Irvine, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In addition, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career, including "SharePoint Online Admin Essential Training" from LinkedIn (expected in 2023), "Instructional Design and Evaluation" from SkillPath (2013), and "Information Mapping" from Information Mapping (2001).
