Christopher Reitz

Christopher Reitz, M.S. AIA CHFM CHC CLSS-HC LEED AP, currently serves as the Enterprise Chair for the Environment of Care and Senior Director of Facilities Regulatory Compliance at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals since October 2013. In this role, Reitz leads the Environment of Care program across the Jefferson enterprise, overseeing multiple committees and reporting to divisional Quality Committees and the Board of Trustees. Previously, Reitz was the Senior Director of Facilities Compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant codes and regulations for the extensive university and hospital campuses. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director of Engineering Services at Pennsylvania Hospital and holding various architect and project director positions in architectural firms from 1992 to 2008. Reitz holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Thomas Jefferson University, and two degrees in Architecture from The Catholic University of America, alongside foundational education from Georgetown Preparatory School.
