Shannon Fleming

Shannon Fleming currently serves as a Physician and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Jefferson Health since September 2024, focusing on patient care and resident education. Previous experience includes roles as a Family Practice Physician at Westside Family Healthcare from July 2019 to September 2024 and as a Resident Physician at United Family Medicine from June 2016 to July 2019. In 2013, Shannon participated as a Medical Student Fellow at the Institute for Research, Education and Training in Addictions, where observation of addiction treatment programs took place. Additional early experience includes a Research Assistant role at MUSC Family Medicine Center and a Day Camp Counselor position at Fermata Tennis and Swim Club. Shannon earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Baccalaureus Artium et Scientiae degree from the University of South Carolina.
