Carl Regillo

Carl Regillo, MD, is a highly experienced professional in the field of ophthalmology, currently serving as the Director of the Retina Service at Wills Eye Hospital, a position held since February 1998. In addition to this role, Carl Regillo is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University and a Partner at Mid Atlantic Retina, both of which were also commenced in February 1998. Prior to these roles, Carl Regillo served as a Major MC in the United States Air Force from July 1994 to February 1998, where responsibilities included co-directing the Retina Service. Carl Regillo completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeastern University from 1979 to 1984 and earned a medical degree from Harvard Medical School between 1984 and 1988.
