Dean Wolcott

Dean Wolcott has a diverse work experience in the environmental and safety management field. Dean served as the Deputy Director of Operations at Thompson Consulting Services starting in 2020. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Safety Manager at Weeks Marine, Inc. where they focused on developing and implementing safety and compliance procedures for marine construction and dredging projects. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Site Safety and Health Officer for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers construction project at American Defense Services, Inc. Before that, they served as the Environmental Health and Safety Program Manager at Thompson Consulting Services from 2012 to 2015. Dean also has experience as a Program Manager at SAIC from 2007 to 2011 and as an Environmental Program Manager at Delta Environmental Consultants from 2004 to 2007, where they managed a multinational team conducting environmental investigations and assessments.

Dean Wolcott attended Tulane University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology. Dean later pursued additional education at Louisiana State University, specializing in Quantitative Risk Assessment for Human Health, although the specific dates of this study are unknown. In terms of certifications, Dean obtained the Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) certification from Louisiana State University Continuing Education in May 2017. Dean also holds the Licensed Professional Geoscientist certification from the Louisiana Board of Professional Geoscientists, which they obtained in December 2014.
