Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson is a seasoned engineering and construction professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Construction at Thompson Engineering since July 2007, Mike previously held the position of Regional VP on the National Board of Direction for the Society of American Military Engineers from May 2009 to June 2012. Mike's earlier career with the US Army Corps of Engineers included roles as Chief of the Engineering Division and Chief of the Design Branch. Mike holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, complemented by foundational education at the University of South Alabama and McGill Institute.
