Jim Butler

Jim Butler is an experienced attorney currently working at Thompson Hine LLP since March 2021. Previously, Jim served as a representative in the Ohio House of Representatives for the 41st and 37th Districts from January 2011 to December 2020. Jim also held an attorney position at Thompson Hine LLP from September 2005 to April 2019 and was the President of the Associate Board at Dayton Ballet from July 2008 to January 2011. Jim holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Cincinnati College of Law (2005), a Master of Arts in History from the University of Maryland (1996), and a Bachelor of Science in History from the United States Naval Academy (1995).
