Jurgita Ashley

Jurgita Ashley is a Partner at Thompson Hine LLP, specializing in securities law, corporate governance, and shareholder activism since 2006. Responsibilities include advising public companies on investment matters, preparing and reviewing SEC filings, and guiding compliance with regulatory frameworks. Jurgita also handles mergers and acquisitions, provides counsel on corporate governance practices, and serves as local counsel for strategic transactions. Additionally, Jurgita has held the role of President of the Society for Corporate Governance, Ohio Chapter since August 2020 and gained early legal experience as a Judicial Extern for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Jurgita holds a degree in Political Science from East Tennessee State University and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
