Jim Morriss

Jim Morriss is a Partner at Thompson & Knight LLP, bringing extensive legal expertise to the firm. Previously, Jim held the position of Fellow at the American College of Environmental Lawyers from 2013 to 2017, contributing to the advancement of environmental law. Jim earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The University of Texas School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Jim's educational foundation was built at Texas High School.
