Neil Read

Neil Read, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Neil is currently the Director of Finance at Thompson Law since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Controller at Agile Mind Educational Holdings Inc from February 2016 to August 2019. Neil also worked as the Director of Revenue Assurance at Tyler Technologies from June 2014 to May 2015. Neil has held leadership positions such as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Una Vez Mas/Azteca America Network Affiliate from January 2011 to January 2014, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at First Broadcasting from March 2007 to December 2010. Neil has also worked as the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer/Secretary at Remote Dynamics, Inc. and as the Chief Accounting Officer/Controller at @Track Communications. Neil's early career includes roles as a Tax Manager at DSC Communications Inc. and AT&T Wireless - Dallas Regional Office, and as a Senior Staff Accountant at BDO Seidman.

Neil Read, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In September 1989, they obtained their certification as a CPA from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
