Geralyn Cormack

Geralyn Cormack is an experienced professional with a diverse background in development, marketing, and communications. Currently serving as the Director of Development for TRU Wildfire, Science & Research at Thompson Rivers University since July 2019, Geralyn focuses on addressing wildfire risks exacerbated by climate change and fostering philanthropic relationships to support students in various programs. Prior to this role, Geralyn held several positions at Thompson Nicola Cariboo United Way from August 2012 to July 2019, including Director of Marketing & Communications and Senior Resource Development Manager, where responsibilities included strategic marketing, donor engagement, and event planning. Furthermore, Geralyn co-owned and managed BARRE Kamloops from November 2015 to May 2022, promoting health and fitness through innovative workout classes. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Thompson Rivers University and multiple training programs in business development.
