Deborah Kelly is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in training, communications, and journalism. Currently serving as the Director of Training and Communications at Thomson Foundation since September 2015, Deborah leads a team focused on global projects that blend learning modalities. Previous roles include Head of Training and Communications and Editorial Associate, with significant contributions to projects such as EU-funded training for journalists in Ukraine. Deborah has also held positions at Nottingham Trent University, various broadcasting organizations, and Al Jazeera Media Network, where skills in production, strategic planning, and editorial management were further honed. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice from the University of Gloucestershire and a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester.
