Jonathan Oakman

Jonathan Oakman serves as the Head of Communications for Thomson Reuters Foundation since September 2023. With extensive experience in international communications, Jonathan previously held the role of International Communications Manager at The King's Trust International, overseeing communications across 18 countries. Notable earlier positions include Associate Consultant at Portland, Press Officer at the Department for International Development focusing on Asia and Global Health, and a secondment as Press Officer in the Brexit Priority Communications Unit at the Cabinet Office. Jonathan has also worked in various communication and marketing roles in sectors including healthcare, theatre, and media, starting with an international development initiative in Bolivia. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
