Massimo Gibilaro

Massimo Gibilaro is the current Director of Product & Technology at Thomson Reuters Foundation. Prior to this, they served as the Head of IT Holdings and Ventures at AW Rostamani Group from June 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading digital transformation strategies of 14 companies within AWR Rostamani Group and line managing a team of 10 to run ERP and technology solutions for Holding (Group Finance, Treasury, Investment, Legal, Strategy, Audit, Procurement), Ventures (Logistics, Lighting Solution Production and Freight Forwarding) and Retail sectors/ group companies.

During their time at AWR Rostamani Group, Massimo Gibilaro delivered a Corporate KPI Dashboard for AWR Board of Directors (ideation and technology solution), Oracle Cloud migration and ISO 20000 Audit program (Service Management) for their business areas, and e-commerce digital transformation plan for AWR Lifestyle retail companies. Massimo was also appointed as Company Secretary for the Technology Investments prioritization committee and introduced and delivered Framework for IT Investment spend for the Board of Directors.

In addition to their responsibilities at AWR Rostamani Group, Massimo Gibilaro also managed a project portfolio of more than 30 projects and Senior Stakeholder relations with CEO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, Heads of Departments (e.g. Treasury Legal, Finance, HR, Retail etc). Massimo Gibilaro has a Laurea in Scienze Politiche e Sociali from Università di Catania and a degree from Universitat d'Alacant in Sociology, Law, and Marketing.
