Howard Schneider

Howard Schneider is an experienced financial journalist currently serving as a Federal Reserve reporter for Thomson Reuters since April 2014. Prior to this role, Schneider held positions at The Washington Post as an International Economics Correspondent and as Jerusalem Bureau Chief, Cairo Bureau Chief, and Economics Editor from July 1986 to April 2014. Schneider holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University (2012-2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland (1977-1981).
