Katie Oberg

Katie Oberg is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as HR Vice President for the Corporates segment at Thomson Reuters since October 2025, Katie previously held positions at Philips as Global HR Lead for the IGTD and IGT North America Region, where leadership was exercised over a global team for a $1.6 billion business. Prior roles include HR Business Partner at Medtronic across various segments, including Lung Health and Peripheral Vascular, as well as multiple HR management positions at General Mills. Katie has also contributed to academia as a Professor in the Human Resources Management Master's Program at Briar Cliff University. Educational credentials include master's degrees from the University of Minnesota and the UMN Carlson School of Management, alongside a bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff University and a certificate in Talent Management from the University of Chicago.
