Masooma Ali

Masooma Ali is an accomplished Senior Applied Research Scientist at Thomson Reuters, with prior experience as a Senior Data Scientist at Sesh, where responsibilities included translating product ideas into solvable machine learning problems and overseeing the complete lifecycle of ML models. Ali's earlier work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Perimeter involved developing distributed algorithms for Monte Carlo integrations, while doctoral research at the University of New Brunswick focused on employing a dust field to address time issues in quantum gravity. Additionally, Ali served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, facilitating tutorial sessions in calculus and differential geometry, and contributed as a Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy. Ali holds a Master of Science in Astrophysics from The University of Bonn and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Delhi University.
