Maurice Tamman

Maurice Tamman is an accomplished reporter and editor with extensive experience in journalism and data reporting. Currently serving as a Reporter/Editor at Thomson Reuters since July 2011, Tamman has notably focused on climate change reporting, leading initiatives such as the OCEAN SHOCK series. Previously, Tamman held the role of Editor-in-Charge for computational and forensic journalism, overseeing a team that contributed to multiple Pulitzer finalists. Additional experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where a data-journalism curriculum was developed. Earlier roles at The Wall Street Journal included working on an investigative team that produced a Pulitzer-prize finalist series.
