Owen Roberts

Owen Roberts is the Director of EMEA Talent Acquisition at Thomson Reuters. Owen has over 19 years of experience in recruitment and account management.

Roberts began their career in 2000 as a Senior Account Manager at Spring Technology. Owen then worked as a Delivery Manager at ReThink Recruitment from 2006 to 2007 before taking on the role of Resourcing Advisor at Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd from 2007 to 2011.

In 2011, Roberts became the Recruitment Manager at John Lewis where they worked for two years before taking a career break to travel in 2014. Owen returned to work in June 2014 as an Account Director at Experis, where they stayed until December 2019.

Roberts joined Thomson Reuters as the Director of EMEA Talent Acquisition in 2020. In this role, they are responsible for leading the talent acquisition function for Thomson Reuters across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Owen Roberts reports to June Sonsalla, SPHR, Vice President - Learning and Talent Development. They work with Nilson Vieira Nascimento Jr - Director, Talent Management (Latam), Regina Olson - Director, Talent & Development, and Mike Bettley - Director, Global Sourcing & Talent Intelligence.
