Susanna Twidale

Susanna Twidale is a Senior Correspondent at Thomson Reuters since October 2021, focusing on non-oil energy markets, including power, gas, coal, and EU carbon markets, as well as UK energy policy and the transition to net zero. Prior to this role, Twidale spent over 13 years at Reuters News Agency as a Correspondent, covering extensive topics in energy and climate policy after joining through Reuters' acquisition of Point Carbon, where Twidale served as Deputy Editor from 2008 to 2012, reporting on European and international carbon offset markets. Twidale holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London, and has an educational background from Cheltenham Ladies' College and Sandbach High School.
