William Nguyen

William Nguyen is an experienced software engineer and architect with a strong background in transforming and modernizing applications across various sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Research Engineer II at Thomson Reuters Labs, William focuses on integrating LLM-based classifiers into legal research products. Previous roles include Principal Software Architect at Morningstar, where William led application modernization efforts and designed internal developer platforms, and senior positions at RBC and IBM, where William developed real-time processing frameworks and re-architected software for scalability. William holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Toronto and has a proven track record in designing and implementing complex systems using various technologies, including AWS and microservices.
