James Thorpe

James Thorpe is the Business Development Director at Thorlux Lighting. James has over fifteen years of experience in sales and management, including regional sales management, business development management, and heading up pre-sales.

Thorpe began their career in 2000 as a Pre-Sales Consultant at Allocate Software plc. James was promoted to Head of Pre-Sales in 2003 and then to Business Development Manager in 2004. In 2007, they were again promoted, this time to Regional Sales Manager. James held this position until 2013, when they left Allocate Software plc to join Thorlux Lighting.

At Thorlux Lighting, Thorpe is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s sales strategy. James has successfully grown the business by increasing sales and expanding into new markets. Under their leadership, Thorpe has built a strong team of sales professionals who are passionate about lighting and delivering excellent customer service.

James Thorpe reports to Mike Allcock, Chairman and Joint Chief Executive. Managing Director. They work with David Taylor - Managing Director, Philip Payne, Craig Muncaster - Joint Chief Executive, Group Financial Director and Company Secretary.
