Kelley McFarlane is a seasoned User Experience Lead and Senior User Experience Designer at Thorn since April 2021, specializing in user research and design for products aimed at protecting children in digital environments. With mentoring experience at adplist.org and career guidance roles at CareerFoundry, Kelley supports emerging UX professionals through various aspects of career development. Previous roles include UX Designer II and I at The Home Depot, where Kelley led UX strategy in personalizing content, as well as experience design at Lighthouse and teaching UX Design at General Assembly. Kelley holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and furthered education at General Assembly.
