Andrei Jakab, P.Eng., PMP, currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Thornhill Medical since May 2023, having previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager. Prior to this role, Andrei was the Director of Engineering at SQI Diagnostics from April 2022 to May 2023, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team focused on product development and customer support. Andrei's extensive experience includes managerial and technical roles in software and electrical engineering, with significant contributions to medical technology projects while working at Thornhill Medical, Prolucid Technologies, SOENIA™ by BrainCare Oy, and Tampere University of Technology. Academic qualifications include a BEng in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Science & Technology in Biomedical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
