Drew Miller's work experience started in 1987 at Rose Media Inc, where they served as a Senior software developer until 1996. Drew then joined First Wave Technology Inc as a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Design from 1996 to 2004. In 2004, they worked briefly as an Electrical Designer at Photon Dynamics. Later that year, they joined Thornhill Medical as the VP Electrical & Software Engineering, overseeing all electrical and software engineering activities. Drew also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Thornhill Medical from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Drew established their own company, Miller Product Development Services, where they served as Principal. In 2018, they joined Respinova Ltd. as a Design Engineer until 2021. Currently, they are back at Thornhill Medical, this time as the Chief Technology Officer as of 2022.
Drew Miller attended Earl Haig from 1986 to 1991. However, the degree name and field of study for this period are not provided. From 1991 to 1996, Drew Miller studied at the University of Waterloo and obtained a B.ASc in Computer Engineering. In 1998, Drew Miller became a Professional Engineer, obtaining this certification from the institution Professional Engineers, Ontario. Additionally, in 2011, Drew Miller received certification in Standard First Aid with CPR-C from St John Ambulance.
