Doug Schweizer

Doug Schweizer is a Senior Project Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti since August 2013, bringing extensive experience in structural engineering. Prior to this role, Doug served as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from August 2011 to August 2013, where research focused on enhancing seismic performance through the development of a heat-treated beam section concept. Doug holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and Mechanics and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.
