Katrin Chandra

Katrin Chandra is a Structural Engineer currently employed at Thornton Tomasetti since January 2022. Prior experience includes a Structural Engineering Internship at HKS, Inc. and WSP USA, where Katrin developed design spreadsheets, optimized structural member spacing, and performed quantity estimation calculations. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Buscarnera Research Group, Northwestern University, Katrin studied the effects of oil and gas extraction on infrastructure subsidence. Additional internships include Kittelson & Associates, Inc., focusing on traffic analysis, and J-PAL, conducting interviews and reporting findings on tax offices in Indonesia. Katrin holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University.
