Christopher Martin

Christopher Martin is an experienced Project Engineer currently employed at Laing O'Rourke since January 2019, focusing on seamless coordination within Hunter Valley Rail Operations and private client sector management. Previous roles include Site Engineer for the Private Client’s Maintenance Division, responsible for servicing over 40 sites in the Hunter Valley Coal industry, and Graduate Engineer, where responsibilities included developing construction programs and overseeing compliance with ARTC standards. Christopher's career began as an Undergraduate Engineer conducting rail track inspections within the HVRO division. Additionally, Christopher is a member of the Permanent Way Institution - New South Wales since January 2023 and is pursuing a Diploma of Engineering Infrastructure with a specialization in Rail from the University of Tasmania, following the completion of a Bachelor of Construction Management from the University of Newcastle in 2020.
