Gillian MacKie

Gillian Mackie is an experienced professional with a strong background in bid management, procurement, and contract management, currently serving as the Head of the Proposal and Design Studio at Thorntons Law LLP since March 2022. Previously, Gillian worked as a Bid Manager at SECOM plc, where significant contributions were made to enhance bid management processes across public and private sectors from July 2016 to February 2022. Prior roles include Contracts Manager at RBS, Procurement Specialist positions at AEGON and APUC, and various management roles at HBOS, along with early career experience in banking with Bank of Scotland. Gillian holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from The University of Edinburgh, completed in 1995.
