Graeme Brown

Graeme joined Thorntons in June 2010 as Director of Finance and has responsibility for the entire finance function of the business, which includes ensuring Thorntons complies fully with the Law Society of Scotland’s Account Rules.

Graeme has been a qualified Chartered Accountant since 1990 and has extensive senior financial management experience gained at the highest levels in business, working across a range of major service sector organisations.

He has previously held Directorships with Response, Wescot Credit Services and Bird Semple and has significant merger, MBO, debt collection and credit management expertise.

A strategic thinker and problem solver, he has a passion for creating innovative analysis and business intelligence to enable business leaders and other non-financial managers to make informed decisions that will ultimately drive and deliver superior financial performance, operational efficiencies and profitability.
