Brandon Duncan

Brandon Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Brandon is currently working as the Head of Field Operations at Thoro.ai since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Smith & Nephew as a Senior Product Support Engineer from September 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Thoro.ai and Smith & Nephew, Brandon held various roles at Uber. Brandon served as a Program Manager from August 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of Autonomous Vehicle Operator Training Program at Uber, where they built a comprehensive AV operator training program from scratch and supervised a team of trainers from December 2015 to August 2017.

Brandon also has experience in the autonomous vehicle industry working at Argo AI. Brandon held multiple roles, including Manager of Driver Development, Operations Manager, and Operations Manager - AV Maps (Interim). In these positions, they led training and development efforts, designed and mentored a 5-city operation, and supervised the AV Maps Operations team to improve systems and tools.

Before venturing into the tech industry, Brandon worked as a Landman at T-O Land & Minerals, Inc. and Orange Energy Consultants, LLP, where they acquired experience in land management. Brandon also worked as a Teacher at both CRESTWOOD LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT and ALBERT GALLATIN AREA SD.
