Dan Parsons

Dan Parsons has had a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Dan is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Platform Officer at Thoughtful since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at 500 Startups starting in October 2018. From April 2019 to September 2020, they were involved in product management at BetterUp where they managed the company's portfolio of enterprise offerings.

Before joining BetterUp, Dan was the Co-Founder and CEO of DRYV from January 2014 to June 2018. During their tenure, they focused on product ownership/management, strategic business development, relationship management, product vision, talent acquisition, and fundraising. Prior to DRYV, they worked as a Founding Partner at ORA Interactive from February 2010 to June 2018, where they later served as the CEO from October 2012 to March 2014. At ORA Interactive, they specialized in agile/lean startup development and custom enterprise product development.

Dan's earlier work experience includes roles at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services as a Solution Architect and Business Analyst and Opportunity Manager from June 2008 to April 2010. Dan started their career at Apple Inc. as a Product Specialist and Business Consultant from November 2007 to May 2008.

Dan Parsons attended the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance/IT. Additionally, during the same period, they also pursued a degree in Information Systems with a focus on Digital Business at the University of Cincinnati.
