Kimberly Hidalgo Hernández is an experienced analyst currently supporting the Defense Innovation Board in providing recommendations on emerging technologies and innovative approaches to senior Department of Defense leaders. Involved with several organizations, Kimberly is a member of the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum, Irregular Warfare Initiative, and #NatSecGirlSquad. Prior roles include serving as a Policy Research Officer at the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies, a Diplomacy Analyst at iDIPLO Media, and a Research and Policy Analyst at Sisma Mujer, where Kimberly focused on a range of political issues, municipal development policies, and gender-related projects. Kimberly's background also includes an internship with Kimberly Grows It™️ addressing food security issues in Ghana and research on climate migration at the Basque Centre for Climate Change. Kimberly holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from the University of San Francisco and a degree in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
