John S.

John S. is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Senior Data Science Manager and Senior Data Scientist at ThreatConnect since May 2021, John has also been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Statistics at the University of Missouri-Columbia since January 2019, contributing to the development and delivery of online courses. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist at Retail and Benson Hill, where John developed predictive models utilizing machine learning techniques. Earlier experience as a Data Scientist at Bayer Crop Science focused on automating statistical models for plant biotechnology trials. John holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by a master's degree from Washington State University and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The College of Saint Rose.
