Ethan Coulter has over two decades of work experience in various roles. Ethan began their career as a Communication Helper at El Paso Energy, where they gained experience in cabling, equipment inventory management, and computer repair training. Ethan later worked as a Team Member at Jamba Juice and as a Computer Consultant at UCSC Physical Plant.
In 1999, Coulter joined the Housing IT Desktop Support team at UCSC, providing on-campus support for desktops and workstations. Ethan also had a short stint as a Linux Installer at Guenther Computers, where they built custom machines and installed Linux.
Coulter then worked as a Bot Programmer at UCSC Virtual College, developing various bots for a virtual world project aimed at enhancing educational resources. Ethan joined City Of Santa Clara as a Programmer/IT, where they developed new software, automated processes, and created interfaces between devices and databases.
In 2006, Coulter became a Software Engineer at Wausau Financial Systems, where they analyzed, designed, coded, tested, and documented innovative solutions to meet customer needs. Ethan also participated in product requirement gathering and suggested architectural changes when necessary.
In 2007, Coulter founded their own company, Coulter Technologies LLC, which offered programming, website, and IT services to small and medium-sized businesses. This company later joined Milton Security Group, where Coulter held the position of President/Owner. Ethan led the company as the Chief Technology Officer and focused on enabling granular control over devices on the network.
Throughout their career, Coulter has demonstrated strong technical skills in programming, website development, IT services, and software engineering. Ethan'sdiverse roles have allowed him to gain experience in various industries and build a strong foundation in technology.
Ethan Coulter's education history includes various institutions and fields of study. Ethan began their academic journey in 1999 at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. After completing their studies there in 2002, they transferred to West Valley College in 2003 to further their studies in the same field. In the same year, they also attended De Anza College for a brief period to continue their education in Computer Science. Subsequently, in 2004, Ethan Coulter transferred to San Jose State University, focusing on Computer Science once again. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University of Phoenix, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
