Jonathon Rubin

Jonathon Rubin has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Jonathon currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at ThreatWarrior since July 2018. Jonathon'srole involves working with machine learning, container orchestration, high-volume/low-latency storage, and network packet acquisition/analysis. ThreatWarrior specializes in advanced threat intelligence platforms.

Before joining ThreatWarrior, Jonathon worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Nitro Solutions from March 2014 to July 2018. During their time there, they utilized Python and JavaScript to solve real-world problems using machine learning.

Prior to Nitro Solutions, Jonathon served as a Lead Software Engineer at Nielsen from September 2013 to March 2014. Jonathon'sresponsibilities included being the Mac lead for a cross-platform user activity measurement tool called NetSight. This involved working with a variety of programming languages, coordinating changes with the PC version of the software, and managing the migration from CVS and SVN to Git.

In addition to the above roles, Jonathon also has experience as a Project Administrator at HandBrake from December 2006 to February 2011, where they played a key role in maintaining the core library of the video transcoder. Jonathon developed new features, fixed bugs, administered servers, moderated forums, and provided technical support.

Furthermore, Jonathon had an IT Internship at CF Motion, Inc. from December 2009 to December 2010. During this time, they prototyped a Ruby on Rails project tracking system, drafted curriculum for a network technology certification program, and configured the deployment of a surveillance system for the Veteran's Administration.

Jonathon Rubin obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A) degree from St. Petersburg College from 2002 to 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) degree in Technology & Management: Business Information Systems from the same institution.
