Catarina Soares, MS has diverse work experience in various industries, including e-commerce, logistics, automotive, and education. Catarina currently works at thredUP as an Industrial Engineering Manager, where they have been responsible for designing and implementing major projects and leading the transition to automated inventory systems. Prior to this, Catarina held roles such as an Automation Engineering Supervisor and Senior Industrial Engineer at thredUP.

Catarina also has experience in education and language translation, having worked as a Portuguese Tutor at the University of Louisville and as an independent Translator. Catarina provided tutoring support to students and translated between Portuguese and English.

Catarina then furthered their education at the University of Louisville, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from 2013 to 2016.
