Clara Krause

Associate Executive Director at Three Rivers Community Action

Clara Castillejos Krause has been with Three Rivers since September 2009, formerly performing as the Asset Manager for the Agency she will be taking over the newly created Associate Executive Director position where she will oversee programmatic outcomes and directly supervise a team of knowledgeable program leaders. The position will also lead agency-wide planning and research initiatives, including the strategic plan and community needs assessment. The Associate Director serves as a member of the agency’s leadership team, responsible for planning, development and implementation of agency goals, policies, and procedures. She is a certified Residential Energy Auditor, completed Four Cornerstones of Financial Literacy training, NeighborWorks Training Institute’s Nuts and Bolts of Asset Management and has completed the Minnesota Community Action Partnership’s Emerging Leader Institute. She is certified as a Housing Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council. She graduated from the University of Quintana Roo in Mexico with a major in International Relations; her previous work experience includes legal aid, HR manager and real estate commercial director. She is passionate about Three Rivers Community Action’s mission and its efforts to help others. Clara was born and raised in southern Mexico and moved to Pine Island, MN in 2007 where she currently lives with her husband and their son.
