Abbas Merali

Abbas Merali is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and real estate sectors. As the Chief Executive Officer of RMD Care since March 2013, Abbas has focused on growing a quality-driven elderly care organization, particularly for individuals living with dementia and complex needs. Concurrently, as a Partner at RMD Capital Advisory and CORNELIAN CAPITAL PARTNERS LIMITED, advisory and investment services are provided in healthcare and real estate. Abbas also holds roles as an Advisory Board Member at Mynurva and Deputy Chair of the South West Hertfordshire Conservative Association, while serving as an elected Councillor for Three Rivers District Council and founding the Stanmore Jafferys Racket Sports community club. Previous experience includes a successful career in M&A advisory at HSBC and governance roles in organizations such as the Middlesex Lawn Tennis Association and the Council of European Jamaats. Abbas is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
