Meeta Gournay has worked in a variety of roles in the corporate and non-profit sectors. In 2018, they co-founded Three Spirit Drinks, a non-alcoholic, plant-based social elixir for a happier, healthier night out. In 2019, they joined the board of Hudson Lab School. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Partner at Prehype, a venture development firm, and an Advisor at HOMER, an early reading platform. From 2015 to 2017, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Nift.io, a software platform that makes contracts easier to read, navigate, and understand. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Head of Strategy and Business Development at Tesco PLC. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Purpose Europe. From 2008 to 2013, they were the General Manager of the United Kingdom at Recyclebank. From 2007 to 2008, they were an Investment Associate at Agora Venture Fund. From 2004 to 2007, they were a Distressed Research Associate at Lehman Brothers.

Meeta Gournay completed their education history with a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 2008, with a focus on Social Enterprise and Marketing. In 2013 and 2014, they earned a Certificate in Digital Marketing from Google Squared Online. Meeta then obtained a BSBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in 2002, with a focus on New and Small Business and Finance.
