Sterling Haukom Anderson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in workforce development and mental health services. Currently serving as the Director of Workforce Development at Thresholds since September 2012, Sterling leads the Staff and Training Department, coordinating in-service training, consultations, and new staff orientations, while implementing training programs aligned with best practices and advancements in the field. Previous roles at Thresholds include Manager of Workforce Development and Senior Clinical Team Leader, alongside a history of providing direct mental health care in various capacities. Sterling is also a Co-Founder and Director of Training and Development at Women Unite! and has held roles in organizations like Adventist Health System and Anixter Center. Sterling holds two Master’s degrees in Community Counseling and Counseling from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Media Studies from North Park University.
