Cynthia Corrales

Cynthia Corrales is an experienced leader in workforce development, currently serving as the Director of Workforce Development at GRID Alternatives since June 2012. Under Cynthia's leadership, the department expanded from one to six full-time staff and successfully launched several initiatives, including the Solar Futures youth program in partnership with ten schools and a paid Solar Construction Internship program with an 80% job placement rate. Previous roles include Workforce and Volunteer Manager and Workforce Development & Volunteer Coordinator, where Cynthia increased program outreach and secured funding to support training programs. Additionally, Cynthia has experience as a Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician at Scientific Specialties, Inc., and held various positions in service learning coordination and research. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology with a minor in Regenerative Studies from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
