Yao Tang

Yao Tang has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and consulting. Yao is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Thriday since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at Blaze Consultants starting from July 2020. Yao also served as the Head of Analytics at illion from August 2018 to June 2020. Before joining illion, they worked at Beyond Analysis as the Director of Analytics & Consulting from May 2015 to August 2018. Prior to that, they were an Analytics Lead, Client Innovation at Inivio from May 2013 to May 2015. Yao began their career as a Data Analyst at Global Red Australia Pty Ltd in January 2012 and then worked at The Database Dept. as a Data Services Specialist and Analyst Programmer from March 2007 to January 2012.

Yao Tang completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree from UNSW from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Sydney Boys' High School from 1997 to 2002, although the specific degree or field of study pursued during this period is not mentioned.
