Elizabeth Button is a seasoned professional in the restaurant and culinary industry, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Asheville Independent Restaurant Association Inc. since September 2022. Elizabeth has held significant roles such as Board Member for Thrive Asheville and the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association, and advisory council member for Haywood Street Downtown Congregation Chefs@Welcome Table. Elizabeth co-founded Katie Button Restaurants, where Elizabeth also co-owns La Bodega by Curate and Cúrate, an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant. Previous experience includes co-owning Nightbell, an American small-plate restaurant, and serving as Vice-President and Owner at ProFlite LLC, specializing in aviation management. Elizabeth holds a Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts from The French Culinary Institute and an Advanced Certification from the International Wine Center.
